Did you know 2022 is the year when Marylanders will vote for a new Governor?
The Primary Election Day for Governor is July 19, 2022. Vote in person on primary election day at your assigned polling place. The voter must be registered as a Republican or Democrat so the appropriate ballot is cast on Primary Election Day.
Voters in Maryland who wish to vote for Governor in the primary election must register no later than June 28, 2022. Primary election day is July 19, 2022.
To vote by mail, you must request a mail-in ballot from the State Board of Elections or your local board. Your request for a mail-in ballot for the Gubernatorial Primary Election must be received by July 12, 2022; and by November 1, 2022 for the Gubernatorial General Election.
