We are a nonprofit human services organization whose mission is to empower, educate, and advocate for low-income individuals and families in order to diminish poverty in our community.
Mission of Love Charities food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and provides free food for homeless and low-income individuals whose income is below 150% of the federal poverty guideline.
We received an overall score of 100 through the Encompass Rating System by Charity Navigator.
Mission of Love Charities, Inc. (MOLC) helps individuals and families stretch their limited incomes by providing donated furniture, and household amenities, as well as utility, housing rental, and Security Deposit assistance. We also provide employability training and mental health referrals. During intake, MOLC assesses client needs and makes necessary referrals to resources in the community.
MOLC also works very closely with the Department of Social Services helping individuals complete applications for their Energy Assistance Program.
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, MOLC solicits food and toys to make the holidays special for those in need.
